We built the tool we needed ourselves

Higher started as an in-house tool at the recruitment company Next u. Today it is used in grocery, retail, hotels, restaurants and more.

2012
Next u starts working with video presentations of both candidates and companies.
2019
Higher is born out of an internal need at Next u. Candidates apply from their phones, without a CV.
2021
The whole tool moves to a European cloud provider. From 1 February there is no connection to the US.
2022
Higher wins Best Mobile Recruitment Tool Company – Stockholm at the Scandinavian Business Awards.
2025
Finalist in the Innovation Company of the Year category at the Recruitment Awards.
