Humlegårdens Ekolager

Humlegårdens Ekolager's mission is to provide high-quality ingredients, equipment, and services for advanced homebrewers and small breweries. Founded in 1992 as a family business by Eva Fahleson Ekelin and Svante Ekelin, they have been a market leader since their inception. Since September 2020, Humlegårdens Ekolager has been part of the Caldic group. According to CEO Anders Jansson, they have saved a significant amount of time by using Higher's recruitment tool.

Streamlined Recruitment Process

Humlegårdens Ekolager primarily recruits warehouse and customer service personnel, but occasionally also hires for more specialized positions. Prior to using Higher, the process was the same regardless of the position.

"The process became too cumbersome for simpler roles," says Anders, referring to the time before Higher when CVs were collected for every recruitment process, regardless of the position.

"It became too much administrative work for hiring managers and HR compared to the job's complexity," Anders continues.

Today, the process looks different. Since Higher came into the picture, the process has become much smoother for everyone. Hiring managers can easily sort candidates, send messages, and schedule interviews directly within the tool.

"We spend less time reading CVs, and each manager independently posts job ads for simple positions without the help of HR. HR can instead focus all their attention on the more complex recruitments," explains Anders.
